Situation

 

Jumio helps its clients turn good people into good customers, assured their customers are who they actually claim to be. Jumio uses AI, computer vision technology, machine learning and live verification experts to verify 3,500 ID types across 200 countries and territories. Its technology is used by leading companies in the financial services, sharing economy, retail, travel, blockchain and online gaming sectors.

After a competitive review, Jumio selected Transiris as their media agency of record to help strengthen their brand positioning as a leading global company offering AI-powered identity verification solutions. Campaign goals included rapidly raising brand visibility and awareness, as well as filling Jumio’s sales pipeline with qualified leads.

Solution

Transiris leveraged our agile media methodology, planning and launching the campaign in three waves that enabled ongoing optimization for media channels and placements, based on campaign performance. This is also allowed us to use the learnings from Waves 1 and 2 to optimize the Wave 3 budget.

Our strategy intelligently segmented and targeted Jumio’s audiences to engage customers and prospects broadly (as decision makers and influencers), and more specifically by title and job function or vertical industry.

The multi-channel campaign was rolled out across digital display and programmatic, organic social, content syndication, blogs, print, webinars and custom/native digital content via the Forbes BrandVoice network.

The entire effort was programmed, measured and optimized via Salesforce, Pardot, Bizible, and Google Analytics – and brand awareness and purchase consideration measured on a near-realtime basis with Nielsen.

Outcomes

Through ongoing optimizations, Transiris was able to lower CPMs 60% with advertising engagement (CTR) more than 4X the industry average. At the same time, Jumio’s Forbes BrandVoice channel generated over 560,000 article views.

As a result, Jumio’s brand awareness increased 203%, significantly leapfrogging competitive brands with more 3x the aided awareness of the nearest competitor. Purchase consideration increased 300%, with audiences more 2.3x more likely to buy from Jumio than the nearest competitor.

Most importantly, the campaign delivered hundreds of targeted leads and exceeded initial estimates by approximately 70% – meaning that we not only increased awareness but deeply connected with Jumio’s audiences and paved the way for greater business impact. In fact, Jumio recorded record sales quarters – in consecutive quarters! – and increased new business growth 100% year-over-year.
