Flexport faces a highly-saturated industry dominated by thousands of legacy companies, some of which have been operating for decades or even hundreds of years.
The US-China trade war and its tariffs by the Tweet-ful had wrought havoc on supply chains everywhere. Shippers were left looking for answers about what ongoing (and sometimes spontaneous) changes to regulation meant – and for strategies to mitigate future risk. And few brands or analysts were providing guidance to navigate the shifting global trade landscape.
To seize opportunity ahead of the (since-deferred) Fall tariff increases, we worked with Flexport to build content leadership, brand and destination branding that would drive SEO visibility and referrals for Flexport.com.
With tariffs dominating global trade news, we fueled Flexport’s marketing with TariffInsider.com – a ‘one-stop-shopping’ microsite for customers and prospects. Transiris was responsible for logo/ content brand identity design, information architecture, wireframing, template design, responsive design, CMS development, SEO, analytic and social media integration.
The Tariff Insider site generated scores of content downloads and consultation requests – ultimately delivering dozens of sales opportunities for freight, customs and trade finance services.
